Risk-free way to try out new authors

Shout out to Public Libraries! Visiting your local public library is a great, risk-free way to try out new authors Did you know that, like the general public, libraries sometimes order books from Amazon, too? If you want to read a book by an independent author (or any published author), but you're not ready to make a financial commitment to buy it, ask your local library to order it! The libraries around me – Sayville, Bayport-Blue Point, South Country, Sachem and Patchogue-Medford – all have paperback copies of Saving Toby. For a new, fairly unknown indie author like myself, this kind of support, not to mention exposure, is awesome! Side note: The libraries here on Long Island are all linked. I don't know if this is true of other areas/states, (*feel free to chime in and let me know) but here on Long Island, if a local library doesn't carry the book you seek, you can go online and click on the LI Link: Expand Search  and browse a much larger catalog source!
